Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: M.Sc. / Integrated M.Sc. / B.S-M.S. (Dual degree) / B.S. (with fourth year Research) in Physics, Chemistry or Life Sciences with required subject combinations and aggregate marks, along with valid national level examination as specified
- Age Limit: Less than 28 years as on 01-08-2026 (relaxation: OBC-NCL 3 years, SC/ST 5 years, PwBD 10 years)

| Selection Process | Applications will be scrutinized and candidates will be screened in for interview based on eligibility as per the national level exam and their score in the qualifying exam., The number of candidates to be called for interview will be decided by the Selection Committee., Final selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in the selection interview only., Allotment of research project will be on the basis of performance in the selection interview; in case of a tie, marks obtained in M.Sc./B.Sc. will be considered., The recommendation/decision of the Selection Committee will be final and binding. |
